I’m aware the players don’t want it. But in reality, they don’t control the situation.
I absolutey want it as a Canucks fan if the team is on an upswing and can ditch a putrid contract or two.
I’d assume there are ten teams that would like to clear up their garbage contracts at .50 on the dollar and some of them are heavy hitters when it comes to negotiating these deals.
You seem kinda dug in here like you are some sort of insider and get angry at anyone questioning you. Sitting in on the negotiation are you? Or is it the fact that you are miserable that you are pissing razor blades?

Why would Bettman allow CBO’s to the rich teams after he retroactively punished them for lifetime contracts?
Think about it, Blob.
He punished SOME teams. He also let Chicago do what they want with regards to Hossa. He lets the leaves do their own thing.

TBL re-signs 26 yr old, 27 in Dec., 5'9 172lbs LW Yanni Gourde to a six-year $5.16M per contract, 3yr NTC, 3yr M-NTC, they let him develop 3 years in the AHL with some NHL games here and there before they gave him a full 82 games last season where he had a monster season.
Petrus Palmu plan?
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
