They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.
But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another’s throats.
Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don’t have any kids yourself.

Poetry Corner at CC
A place where odes from Doc reigned free
Whether limericks of quirk
Or 5 7 5 Haiku
Man nor thing was safe
Oh yes 'tis true
Will fail to match
His efforts here
Due to talents dirth
For me I fear
But this attempt
Must I endeavor
As to know you Doc
Was my great pleasure
This poor poem
I hope you view
From whence you landed
To a life now new

He passed?
Fuck me. I'm in tears. Jesus H. One of the wittiest, funniest posters ever. I just spent a week in hospital in Kelowna. Didn't even get a room. Bed in a hallway withectwo seperate nfections and gave enough blood to fill a five gallon pail.
RIP Doc.

Nothing confirmed but it’s looking unfortunately so.

Some old school Canadiana from the late Norm MacDonald.
Norm Macdonald performs a humorous, lengthy poem by William Henry Drummond. The piece recounts a story about a friend's journey and experiences. Expect a charmingly rambling and anecdotal performance.

A Poem (The Frantics - Boot to the Head)
I remember her eyes across the yawning abyss of a week and a half
I remember their brown glow lighting the room like a shock of azures sky
Azure blue.
They were blue.
Right.
Blue as ocean water in its deepest Emerald Hues
Emerald green.
They were they were green.
Greeny blue.
Sort of aquamarine with little uh
Brown brownish flecks.
Okay, I remember her tits.

The Wreck of the Frank Aquilini
The site it lives on from Cornuck on down
For the failure they call Canucks Hockey
The Frank, it is said, never gives up though dead
When the skies of the season turn gloomy
With a lame looking core, 11 point 6 millions more
Than 55 sad seasons weighed empty
That good CC crew had many bones could be chewed
When team failures again showed up early
