He's not the only player who passes off at the blueline.Cornuck wrote: ↑Fri Oct 17, 2025 6:59 amHe was better, but one thing that concerned me was the way he would pass off entering the offensive zone and let someone else take it in. He should have the confidence to cross the blue line with the puck and try to make something happen.Mëds wrote: ↑Thu Oct 16, 2025 10:05 pm Contrary to some comments tonight, Pettersson was more engaged. I noticed him taking the puck with some speed through the neutral zone, and he was moving the puck quicker on the PP. I don't think for a minute that the 1.0PPG EP is ever coming back, but he was better and I'll acknowledge that.
Hank and Dank both used to cross the blueline and then do a drop pass as defenders approached. It created space and allowed possession and setup inside the blueline. Neither of them had the speed to carry it past a defender, or chip-and-chase the puck into the corner. They were hard to knock off of the puck along the wall, but only because of those short passes that kept defenders from fully committing to pinning them on the boards.
Pettersson is too easy to knock off the puck, and he can't chip-and-chase because he can't fight past a defender.

Don’t have em anymore dude. Gave them up when I sold the jet. Still have the Helicopter, but it takes too long, and I hate the added stop in Bella Bella for fuel.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Fri Oct 17, 2025 11:49 amYeah, Blob!
Like flying in your private jet from Yellowknife to catch the game in your season ticket holder's premium seats.

But you were enraged when they traded JT. You implied that you were pretty much done with team, much like Wiebo.
