William Karlsson knocking on the door of 40 goals
Whooda think it ?
I know someone closer to home who would knocking on 40
if he wasn't injured
- and I don't think any of us would have expected it, either!
well he'd be knocking on 50 if his team wasn't so inept.

Yeah, that truly sucks. Don't even want to think about what it would be like in his shoes.
Hockey players are human after all and there's life outside the rink.

Blake Wheeler and Ben Chiarot just fought with each other here at practice. Appears that Wheeler took a slap shot at Chiarot. Looks like Scheifele cross-checked Chiarot and then Wheeler stepped in and began throwing punches at Chiarot. #NHLJets
Chiarot getting the Eastvander treatment in Winnipeg.
Gotta love it when your captain fires a slap shot at you in practice.

Apparently Chicago has signed Gaudette's team mate - Sikura. This is getting nerve racking.
Curious, how Northeastern's line-up is looking next year, losing Sikura, returning for another year may not be so attractive???

Former NHL defenceman Christian Ehrhoff announced his retirement from professional hockey on Monday
He was bought out by Buffalo after just three seasons in 2014, leaving the team with an annual payment of $857,143 for 14 years. He is still owed $8.57 million by the Sabres and will receive cheques through 2027-28.

Ring of Hono_r!
He he he.
Ehrhoff -- great acquisition (Patrick White!) and good decision to not re-sign. Best two seasons were in Vancouver, and he has millions because of them.....

I've always felt that he was one of those guys who is far more valuable to a specific franchise than to any other, kinda like how Jovo, Ohlund, Linden, Salo, and so many others went off a cliff when they left Vancouver.
At the time he left, I personally took 40-point defensemen for granted, because it seemed like the Canucks always had one or 2 crack 40 points every year. Since we lost the Hoff, Edler's had the only 40+ point season from a Canucks dman.
He undoubtedly left us in his prime, and immediately ran into injury issues and a god-awful fantasy league-contructed franchise in Buffalo.
A big part of me wishes they'd given him his $5 mil/year and skipped the Garrison experiment.

Chara extended, one more year:
"The Bruins announced Wednesday they have signed Chara to a one-year, $5-million extension that carries up to $1.75 million in bonuses."

The Hoff had first unit PP time with two of the best players in the NHL during his tenure here. Anson Carter 2.0
He was never going to get those numbers playing without the twins.
