The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.
There used to be a word that defined people who leanedleft or right. That word has been lost, due in no small part to divisive media and government labelling.
Centrist.
Ring any bells?
They are generally the most rational thinkers in the room. Solution seeking, bridge building, oriented rather than problem fixated dividers.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Well it's widely believed that Sandmann got the full $275M from CNN in the end.
Don't believe me, try G O O G L E....
I took your advice and searched it and NOWHERE did I find anything that suggested he received a $275 million dollar settlement on a $275 million lawsuit...
I did learn what the lawsuit was about, and anyone who thinks he settled for $275 million is bonkers...
This was some of the information I did find upon googling the case and apologies in advance for this lawyers language....
As a lawyer, with 27 years experience, I can tell you definitively that he never was awarded "hundreds of millions of dollars" he suffered no substantial, compensatory, damages, and punitive damages, if any, cannot be completely unmoored from compensatory damages. So if he's lucky, he received mid six figures. Anyone who believes that he received hundreds of millions of dollars is stupid as fuck.
For all we know, you just quoted Chef Boi RD in full troll mode at lawyersRus.
("stupid as fuck" gives him away)
Also, not sure why you're receiving different results from google than I.
This is going nowhere, enough of this nonsense, let's get down to brass tacks...

They should create a leaderboard to post settlement payments made by each network, if they did of course Fox would be the clear leader assuming Newsmax's settlement payment was less than the nearly $1 Billion Fox payout...
