Barrie put on 1st unit PP already. HOw the hell could Babcock not try that/

Strangelove wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2019 1:40 pm Uh-oh, this new coach is doing something I've thought the Leaves should do all along:

Rielly AND Barrie on the #1 PP.

Leaves will no doubt play with enthusiasm tonight and in the short-term BUT

... if they continue to lose things will get verrrry interesting indeed. :mex:

It's shockingly stupid Babcock never did that. He was horrible.

Told you.

I know you guys hate the leaves, but if Babcock coached the Canucks you would have wanted him gone. All my complaints on here about him were valid. Not using Tyson Barrie properly was crazy. He simply coached them to a style they were not built for. It made no sense.

Play the best players more, put Barrie on 1st unit PP, don't play the 4th line when down a goal with 3 minutes left and after everytime you score a goal, don't take 1st unit PP off after 40 seconds, stop obsessing over line matching and don't play the backup against the better team in back to back games

Keefe has an easy job. Just do the obvious.

Its all fun and games til you guys have your confidence removed by the Bruins for the 37th time in 10 years. Good luck with that

Right!!!

It's almost like the hockey gods are making a Bruins smashing Toronto a thing!!

Bruins near the top, leaves might sneak in.. Bruins vs. leaves.

Perfect!!

I remember the days were Tuna would come on this site and boast how they landed the greatest coach of all time. How the addition of the cock would bring the leaves to the promised land. How nothing was going to stop them. He argued against those that told him the cock was overrated. That the cock was not what a young team in transition, still building needed. Athat he wasn’t good with younger players. That he wouldn’t have the patience a young team like Toronto needed.

Oh so now Tuna wanted him gone. The cock was the problem. How convenient a memory can be.

Just to be clear, we don't hate the Leaves. We find them hilarious.

We hate Toronto.

We mock the Leaves.

Why sign an aging Eriksson if you're so bad?

We have Babcock as coach, added the best D-Man in the KHL who look great thus far and 3 of the top 6-7 prospects in the world and you think Vancouver is better?
