I wish we kept Jonah Godjanovich. Which former coach of the Canucks was intimidated by his manliness?
Elmer waived him.

Decent draft pick by Elms
But doesn't that just make it sting all the more?
Sort of like a much less damaging version of Forsling?
Wouldn't it be worse to realise years later that a girl you dumped would have been perfect for you, than to have never met her at all?

Oh, it's true all right.
My pool results are also evidence. What I get for drafting Miller and Trochek...
Then again, probably my just desserts for picking any Rangers period.

Yeah, you pretty much sealed your fate with that.

Appears Kelser may have found some trouble.
Allegedly.
Edit...indeed it seems.

Did something wrong (allegedly)? Then he is a past Ducks player....
FYI, while it says "misdemeanor" in the linked article, the crime is punishable by up to 2 years imprisonment.
The charged offense makes it a crime to have "sexual contact" with a person between 13 and 16 years old. Sexual contact is defined as "the intentional touching of the victim's or actor's intimate parts or the intentional touching of the clothing covering the immediate area of the victim's or actor's intimate parts, if that intentional touching can reasonably be construed as being for the purpose of sexual arousal or gratification, done for a sexual purpose, or in a sexual manner for: (i) Revenge; (ii) To inflict humiliation; or (iii) Out of anger."
That's purpose language at the end of the statute is kind of interesting, and wouldn't exclude hazing a youth athlete, though I assume its some girl is the victim, but the article doesn't make that clear. The alleged offense occurred January 1 of this year -- curious that the investigation took this long. But also curious insofar as the date could indicate a New Year's Party, hockey tourney, etc. (offense alleged to have occurred in a town near Livonia where Kesler lives). I note Kesler has kids in this age range, but there's a different crime in Michigan for criminal sexual misconduct against relations, so we can exclude this allegation being that.

He's a high profile youth coach.
His team was highly ranked nationally last year.

Interesting -- I didn't know that. Coach-athlete abuse scenario really would make this a hockey story -- though as I read Michigan's code, I think that could have been charged as second degree which involved sexual contact of those under 13 or between 13-16 when there are special circumstances, including when the defendant is in a position of authority and used that authority to coerce submission. There are more elements to prove for that crime, so even if it was coach-player, the evidence for the extra elements might not be as strong and the nature of the offense might not be so great where the state is interested in a (maximum) 15 year sentence....
