sn cuts out to Jays after 2 hours FA coverage. Guess they've learned that 6 hours of dead air is a waste.

TSN still going strong.

leaves made a huge pitch for Thornton and Marleau. Speculation is both players using leaves offer to pressure Sharks. leaves rebuild over?? Thinking cup with offers like that.

Hainsey gets Del Zotto money from leaves, 2 years at 3 million per. Says he chose leaves because he wants another cup??

Ryan Miller got better money and term than I thought he would... and he gets to go where he wanted to.

Good for him. He deserves it.

2x2 is good for him. Canucks were prepared to match, even as high as what they gave Nilsson but Ryan wanted to be in the LA area and with a contender. Only way Canucks get him back would have been to WAY over pay. Thankfully Benni g seems to have gotten it right this year.

Caps trade Marcus Johansson to NJ for 2018 2nd, 3rd. NJ with the steal, probably wasn't on market to the whole league I bet, all he had was a modified NTC.

All because Kuznetsov got the big contract. $7.8M per.

Alexander Radulov signs with Dallas 5 years for $31.25 Million ($6.25M AAV). Dallas looking like a serious contender now.

Montreal signs Ales Hemsky for 1 year @ $1 Million. Habs fans are not happy with any of Bergy's moves.

Grenier signs one year, two way contract with Panthers.

I guess Jim didn't see anything in his game worth keeping him around for.

I'm not sold on Dallas and Calgary until they improve their goaltending more. Both teams made big moves this summer, but can Ben Bishop or Mike Smith really carry the team deep in the playoffs? I'm not sold. Edmonton and Anaheim rank quite a bit above those two in my opinion.
