Awe shucks you remembered?
Still in AB? Drowning in OIlerville yet?
On topic I would have LOVED to see ROR scooped up on waivers and Calgary lose the picks. Would have been just too damn sweet.

Larry Goodenough wrote:What is getting lost amongst the cow shit slinging is The Lames owner was front and centre during the lockout.
Two months later, he's giving his GM the OK to pay a 2/3 line centre coming out of an entry level deal a contract that guarantees more than $6.5 M a season for years to come.
That kind of hypocrisy is normally saved for Bruins and Blackhawks.
What does he care? With the wild card format being introduced into the playoffs the Flames chances just went up. He's getting what he wanted, a better chance at playoff revenue without having to run his team properly.

This latest thread over at the inbred farm is just classic- even they are realizing the team has come full circle in 12 years and destined for nothing.

TSN mentions Iggie to Vancouver
Bountiful is good for 1/2 a dozen pages and growing.

I was trying to imagine how I would feel if it were linden back in the day, but to be honest I cant picture it... I think it would have to be Bure coming back as a ranger or panther that would hurt more...
Edit: the Flamer Gelinas sliding in the shiv in overtime is right up there though

I suspect so.
The other night, they were throwing out possibilities left right and centre.
