Sherwood brought a better return. LOL
Sherwood is a better asset than Myers. Story checks out.

But will he this week when San Jose moves him?
I would trade a 2nd for Sherwood.
then flip him tomorrow for another 2nd and a 4th...
masterclass of playstation trading right there!

Myers was the correct answer - of course, there was a lot data pointing in that direction!
Who's next?

just think, if we traded every player on that list, DOC would be the oldest guy on the roster...
We could suck (with no veterans) for DECADES!

Fair value. I was surprised they had a second on the table to begin with. Happy for Meyers that he at least got to control his destination - only learned about his son recently so happy this worked out best for everyone involved. The Canucks rep is bad enough, they didn't need a drama unfolding with treating Meyers poorly!
Hopefully this means trades are coming across the league. It has been slow!

Dallas is a good team, and will likely be good next year. I was expecting a 3rd and a 4th, so even if Dallas's 2nd is the 62nd overall pick, it's still pretty good. Not as good as our 33rd overall 2nd, but...not bad.

Up to 7 picks in rounds 1 & 2 over the next two drafts.
Here is hoping we get a few more:
Garland - 2nd (depending on roster player return as well)
Boeser - 2nd
EP40 - 1st (Likelyhood of a trade here is minimal I think)
Blueger - My guess is a 3rd/4th - but if we add a 3/4, can we get a 2nd??
DeBrusk - 2nd (likely a roster player coming back, can we get a 1st if we take a bad contract back as well? Not likely I think).

Despite his age, he's actually one of those players over 25 who I would want to have them keep. Guys has a good work ethic, got there the hard way, plays a hard game. Unless they're offering a 2nd- or 3rd-round pick, I would keep him. It's not like addition by subtraction with him.

Our discussions around here are predicated upon the assumption that these morons have a plan whereas I strongly believe they are just fumbling around in a dementia bender forgetting where they put the milk and shit.
We are totally fucked until they're loaded onto Blob McKenzie's party barge and floated out the Juan De Fuca straight into the blue abyss beyond
Cuz, this is a tremendous take.
Bullseye.

So nobody picked Woo?
Garland is looking to be the next likely candidate - also known as the only player on the roster another team might want.

Pens beat writer Josh Yohe says they are looking at trading for Teddy. Of course, they’re in a soft rebuild themselves so I expect Dubas to be parsimonious with the picks
