Anything positive going on down there?
Tolopilo has been really good in goal, though he's platooning with the porous Jiri Patera at the moment. Look for Patera to take a seat when Demko gets back and Silovs returns to Abby.
Rookies Kudryavtsev, Pettersson and Mueller are all playing regularly and playing well. Klimovich is having a bounce back season under Malhotra; Lekkerimaki has yet to make his debut due to illness.

This.
It is encouraging to hear D Petey playing well after a poor pre season.
Hopefully Letterkenny goes well when he gets on the ice. First I have heard about him being sick.

Yeah, my pleasure you guys
Interestingly, regarding D-Petey; college free agent sigree Christian Felton has yet to make his AHL debut despite having what most regarded as a reasonably impressive NHL camp and preseason. Mind you, it's early and there is an unusual glut of good players in Abby right now. But still, some surprises early on...
Anaheim affiliate San Diego Gulls are the opponent tonight.

A heady Lekkerimaki goes for a skate, circles to the blueline and throws a well timed wrister through traffic that Raty deflects behind a heavily screened Clang. I thought it might have been Lekk's first but Raty gets the credit. Savvy play by the rookie to set that up.
