The problem is you think they are named after "Maple Leaves", which they are not.
It's actually kind of sad so many thousands say "Leaves" thinking they are correct. Western Canadians. What are you going to do?

We should actually be quite thankful for the leaves...
No matter how bad we think our team has been for it's time in the league, we can't hold a candle to how inconceivably shittier Torontoilets team has been for even longer!
