NFL Thread: Thoughts on the game south of the 49th

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

I watch more NFL games on a single weekend than Canucks game in a season.

Sheeze man...that takes some patience.

The game of hockey vs the game of football.

I guess there are numerous stoppages so if you float off to make snacks or puff a gag you don't really miss anything thaaaat exciting. It's more like a moving test pattern going on in the corner while you focus on more pressing matters.

Yeah I can get my head around that

Interestingly that's pretty much how I watched 45 minutes of last night's game until I couldn't take it anymore and moved on to Walking Dead.

Sort of in the background while I did other shit.

Could not get into it at all.

Football I tend to DVR all the games I want to watch and then start at a point where I can FF through the dead zones and commercials.

Harbaugh vs Harbaugh - brotherly coaching

Jackson vs Herbert - two top QB's

Ravens at SoFi vs Chargers - BIG game harbouring mid season playoff implications for both teams with Baltimore trying to stick with the Steelers on top of the AFC North and LA with an eye still on the Chiefs (who are doing it with mirrors) lead.

Looking forward to a great game....

Really enjoying this, another football game in the snow!

It always reminds me of my childhood.

We often did dat dere in the field down the street.

Dozens of us.

The snow helped cushion the blow of getting tackled on the rocks and broken bottles. :)

No doubt part of the reason I'm so well adjusted today...
