leaves have 17 million in cap space. LOL. And that Aho offersheet helped the leaves so much. Aho is a C who gets an offersheets and signs it at 8.5, but Maner wants 3 million more. LOL Marner is scewed.

Lou got humiliated today. And take a look at Isles cap. Yikes. leaves are spending most of their cap on superstars. Isles lock up Eberle, Nelson and Lee to massive deals.

Barrie is a good offensive dman, but everyone had agreed a defensive dman was needed.

Leaves are still a few million short of being able to sign Ceci to the agreed-upon $4.5M + Marner.

And where will the Leaves get the money to re-sign Barrie and Muzzin next summer?

Answer: Barrie will sign with Canucks as a UFA (why Sakic traded him)

... and Muzzin will sign with... Ottawa?

Barrie was a good addition, but it's only for one year... and it cost Kadri.

As I say, another move must be coming to fit in Marner and Ceci.

Toronto will start next year minus their 2 best PK forwards... Brown and Hyman (out til Xmas)

... and minus their 2 best PK dmen... Hainsey and Zaitsev.

This after giving up their best PKers Komarov + Polak the previous year.
