He’s playing less minutes than Hughes because Hughes is just too good to keep off the ice
I don't want to step in between a married couple that's arguing, but it could be argued that TG is giving Hughes too much ice time for a rookie defenceman.
If he was showing even the slightest indication of fatigue I might agree but it appears the kids development is actually accelerating from the added icetime and responsibility.

I expect both Dahlin and Hughes to win at least one Norris each.
They are both phenomenal d-men. Just give them a few years to grow into their jerseys.

Everybody has a wall. Quinn has got caught on extraordinary long shifts. His conditioning and beautiful skating qualities are saving him for now.
Fine / Good, but ole Trav cannot just simply take it for granted. I'm sure he knows that but standing behind that bench, the pressure of doing
anything necessary to win a game/games, especially lately, must be overwhelming and it just happens.
The power play minutes are immensely cranking up the stats for on ice time but that kid can put in the full two and often does. Couple minutes
or less, he's out again.
The more his reputation grows; there are ass-holes out there that could, in theory, be looking to nail him when he's tired.

Ya, Travis has to watch. He's so young. Great vision for a kid. Seen him duck out of the way of hits numerous times. Scary shit.
Not a true comparison because they play different positions but Pettersson doesn't have quite the freedom he did last year. Now I'm
thinking next year will be another challenge for Quinn too. Ah, fuck it though, he's a major smart kid. What a hockey family.

Come on - guys have to protect themselves too - not just rely on the refs/other players. As Don Cherry would have said, turning back like that is a dumb dumb move.

When Tryamkin hits he hurts people. Just ask Tyler Seguin

We really should call Tryamkin "The Piano" (88 keys)

Would make sense if he gave the opposition a tune-up once in a while.

Regardless of whether Tree is Bach, 88 belongs to Gaud.

When the Piano comes back the Gaud must give him back his 88.

#canucks prospect Linus Karlsson is now the top scoring U21 player in the Allsvenskan, and that was before his 3 point-game today.
