Stamkos isn't going to risk his health if he doesn't have a contract and Tampa doesn't seem to be in the mood to negotiate right now. A strange situation.
So, he won't play for the Stanley Cup??? Do we really want him with that "do or don't die" attitude?
Yes! He doesn't have a contract and has a serious condition that he has not recovered from 100%. why risk it. Mitchell did the same thing with us and his concussion. Give him a new contract and he will play rough the injury if he can, otherwise.....
Maybe, but it scares the hell out of me spending so much money on one proven superstar when we are hopefully going to be developing some of our own and in 2 or3 years, they'll need money.
Then there's the problem of more potential injuries. He will always play the way he does and will always be a target.
At this point, it's a huge investment, hard to know the future, hesitant...
Kassian signs a one year 1.5 M contract with Oilers. This was significantly less than what his qualifying offer would have been but Oilers told him they would not offer the QA amount. He seems happy to have the deal in place, and rightly so.

One more opportunity for the not so young now lad!!
Probably has a better chance then Cody Hodgens.
Wonder what "really" happened to that guy ?

One thing for sure, Mr. Hodgson has made more money than Mr. Kassian, especially after the buy-out...
Bruins sign Kevin Miller, D, to a four year 10 million contract, cap 2.5. At best I see him as a bottom three on D but that's just me. Simms Benning isn't the only one to highly value Dmen.
