You think Courtnall is on the phone with Mr Aquilini right now?
I hope he converses with the owners.

I still see Henrik Sedin running this team in the next few years.
Makes ya wonder if current NHL GM’s are damaged goods, manipulated by the industry that moulded them over the years becoming short sighted. Maybe we need a fresh pair of eyes like a Courtnall to run things, then again, we went down that road with the players agent Mike Gillis whom Paddy Quinn hated ferociously. Ole skull and crossbones Tony Gallagher, another Quinn nemesis, got Baggy Eyes Gillis the gig, he layed down the path for Gillis to get in back door with the easily influenced Aqualini bros with Nonis still at the helm. It was a cold and calculated take out of Eastside Nonis the WOP, old fashioned style, mob hit, didn’t see it coming, Nonis still holds a grudge to this day. This is the Aqualini world, boys. I worry the Aqua bros can’t think for themselves, it was ole Steamer Smyl who finally threw down, busting into the Aquas offices like one of his famous bone crushing hits and gave the Aqua bros the people’s elbow telling them to cut Elms loose and hire ole crusty the clown, salty Jim Rutherford. Where is Boney Gallagher these days? Lawn bowling with McKeechie and Bernie Pascal? Bingo at lunch, nap at 2, dinner at 4? I’ll never forget the day Steamer bloodied Nystrom’s nose, forever a legend Stan is.

That's what ya get with new money. Like children with a new toy they won't share and only lend it out for seconds before calling in their loan.

Getting rid of mobster ownership seems like the only real solution but then there is zero chance they give up their toys without a tantrum

Would love to see the walrus mean-mugging behind the home team's bench.

Yes, that would be a winning double down scenario for sure.

If Toch walks I would love for Coach Q to land in Van.

Although his level of old school almost all but ensures we end up with an $11.6M PTSD boat anchor on the books for the next 7.

You cancelled your SN. Will be interested to see how you keep up on the team. :)

Maybe you could talk to Gomer107 on a Ham Radio.

The only thing Nonis ever held is a double cheeseburger in his vice like mitts.

There are ways to watch the games without paying money to support a shit product.

There are plenty of ways to keep up on the team without SN.

Ole Paddy Quinn the Canuck legend did not like T-Bone Gallagher, he was none to pleased with his involvement in sneaking Gillis in back door, it was a disrespectful move, low class, not how the Irish mob like Burke and Quinn operated, old school tough, respectable. The players agent was a piece of shit, it’s why nobody will hire him. I’m surprised you like the backstabber Gillis and his crew (Gallagher and Sekeres). I thought you were a Quinn guy?

On board with Coach Q. I'd turf Tocchet for him any day.

Q would be excellent. Tocchet is good for basic defending but an up tempo style would be refreshing and likely get more out of pouters
