Ah...I really should read all posts before I hit reply.

Yeah, then this should negate the penalty shot.

Yeah. I didn't really care who won, but I sure as hell didn't want Martinook scoring on that penalty shot.
Yep, that would have been a travesty for Travisty.

But according to the rules, you're right.

This is the part I did watch because I was waiting for the play to end to see if he'll point to center. My initial thought was we're getting a penalty shot in OT. Then they scored and I left thinking the game was over so missed the whole offsides call back.

You know that he decided he was going to quit chasing down shots at his own empty net 18 months ago, right?

Some Prez/GM sensed that way back and told anyone who would listen...

Oilers better send JR a bouquet if they win it all.

Two guys he tossed aside instrumental. It just gets better and better for TFG's™.

No doubt. Beauty pass by Podz there to end it on Kapenen's but. Great finish by Dickenson on his chances.

Lemme guess... JDicky16" and Podz?

Sure, Va-silly will probably never live up to his draft position, but I thought it was a mistake to give up on a then 22yo and keeping Hoglander instead.

It's time to start categorizing these. So many we're going to lose track.

Ironic these are the best two examples of the current regime trying to correct their predecessor’s mistakes.

Cost previous regime a 3rd rounder to acquire JD. Cost current a 2nd rounder to get rid of him.

Cost previous regime a 10th OA pick to select VP. Current acquires a 4th rounder to get rid of him, only to give it back to get EK.

At the end of the day…

We currently have zero players or assets to show for both guys at the total cost of

A 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd.

Didn't even mention the other correction that's still on the books at 4.77m this year and next and 2.23m the three years after that.
