Not a podcast but not sure how I missed "The Hockey Guy." I haven't been following as closely lately but I think his channel is great and I admire how much work he puts into that thing.

I do find his fandom of the Canucks, Bruins and the Stars 'unique' but equally I think it helps him appeal to a wider audience. I think overall he is pretty fair and makes a basic whiteboard and logos really entertaining.

In case you missed it, here's a discussion from 2024 agent Allan Walsh had on his podcast Agent Provocateur with client Filip Hronek.

Enjoy :D

** Walsh also spent the first segment of yesterday's episode talking about Hronek's current status with the Canucks - it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere.

Ya Walsh has made it clear for awhile now that Hronek will not waive. I'm ok with that. He is an elite Dman and provides a steady presence for us. We do need to keep some vets and the ones like Hronek provide value for the duration of their contract and can help in a rebuild.

In 2028 his trade status changes to a MNTC, 15 team no trade list. So if we have developed RSD by then and we want to move him out there will be an opportunity. Patience with contributing players like him.

Zeev Buium speaks in glowing terms of Hronek.

An important player for he, Willander and DPete.

And Verhoeff....

Speaking of Pods.

McKenna on Chiclets this week.

I'm starting to realize that a pick in the top 3 this year will be a gem regardless of who we get. All 3 (as well as Lawrence it seems) will be top calibre pieces to build around.

This is only the first of at least 3 high picks that will shape the franchise moving forward. This is what we all have been screaming for and I am pretty stoked to watch it all take shape.

I think priority needs to be to flush out that sulking sack of pout though. He's dragging the vibe down

+1
Any of the top 4 would be fine with me, at the end of the day it's still a crapshoot and you just have to hope they're not a bust.
As far as flushing out that sulking sack of pout...I say keep him until either: A) Canucks get someone better to replace him with
B) Someone offers a trade that both sides accept
C) He's begging for a trade

Let's try to stay on topic here is podcasts - not 'the Petey Predicament' or 'the 2026 draft'...

Lol.

You take the more direct approach.

Likely a better method...

...McKenna had a decent chat on the Chiclets pod yo.
