Yeah, I think both of those guys had really strong showings. Thanks for the good news Wids.

Not bad for a 4th and 6th round pick. The kids stepped up and earned those deals. Now whether they ever see anymore of it who knows. The signing bonus this year is a nice reward.

Found the line ups here, not 100% the Canucks one is accurate, looks like they need to add some vets to get to the mandated minimum. It has a real "AHL feel" to it.

Tony Parsons, Buck Martinez, Bob Cole, Lloyd Robertson, Brian Williams, Mark Messier, Chris Chelios ..... just leave already

I fear the same for Mad Max and Verlander. Kershaw knows when to pull the switch.

Give someone else a chance.

Some organizations have soft spots for certain minor-leaguers. Hell, Joe Labate is back in Vancouver, for Christ's sake! I wager we may have seen the last of Dryden Hunt after this game, when minor-leaguers get cut back to their farm clubs in earnest.

Whatever. It's early pre-season.

Yawn. Scratch. Fart.

For anyone that missed it, the game is streaming on Canucks.com - hopefully now blackout bullshit. If I find a youtube feed, I'll post that too.

Last game was regional blacked out. I will probably give it a listen on the radio.
