Not sure I've seen a player like this before. Yes- he's had some hardships. Yes - he seems like a very good person. But he seems unable to leave the personal stuff behind when he steps onto the ice. Just in this month, he was looking disinterested, then the trade deadline passed and he looking inspired again. When he signs with a new team, he should be settled mentally and be focused on hockey again. Of course, a relative could get sick, and then he'll be distracted again. It's too much of a roller coaster with this guy.
I like the guy, he's been (mostly) a good player for us - but it's getting tiring watching him bring his outside issues to the rink. Good luck Brock - just don't score on us too much.
