Play seems pretty even, and you can easily see why neither of these teams is meeting expectations.

I actually thought Green would put a kibosh on that experiment considering the rough first shift Burroughs had.

It's a fast pace so far. Not much structure but the effort is there. Having to play Burroughs on his off side might be adventurous.
We need to get some of our own set plays going.

Remember when Markstrom would close the door and then lose the shutout in the final couple minutes and didn't even earn a shutout until the end of his 3rd full year in Vancouver?

Now he has 4 in 9 starts with Calgary. That shines a pretty big spotlight on what coaching style and system can do to a goalies stats.

Yes, but I was flipping those escapades on it's head and pointing out the Canucks coaching capers.

Hughes knows better then to do the lazy crosscheck like that. Dumb penalty and it cost. Yep; Players are frustrated.
