Look at one of these:

Cheaper than a west Van bungholow and has a steam shower.

You can steal Lever's wifi password and float off the end of his doc all day

Not as easy as the North Shore but doable.

Topper.

I'd fly 95% of the time.
Anything bigger than a suitcase you'll have to get by boat and you'll be living amongst the folks who overwhelmingly vote for Elizabeth May.

OK Falls is a dump. The west end of the chop shop meth lab belt between OK Falls and Bridesville. Friend of mine just built on the hillside above Skaha, East side of the lake just south of Penticton. Blasting permits for the foundation and pool took a bit of effort but got done.

The great replacement theory isn’t coming, it’s already here.

Right...my current idea du jour is have a place there and here and fly back and forth as necessary.

Limited ferries and would not have to pack much to transit back and forth.

Got a place in mind I've looked at a couple of times actually...

Do where people choose to live make that decision by who the people of that neighborhood vote for? Geezus Christ life is too short to be angry at that level.

Where that house is that I clipped pics of they aren't voting Green.

The rest of day to day out and about I won't give a shit about.

I've spent enough time on the Gulf Islands to work my flow....

Sure, from a Native American perspective, absolutely.

But that clip you linked to is nothing but fear mongering, bullshit and cherry picked statistics.

Sure, those cities mentioned statistically do have foreign born majorities. Perhaps caused by how you define city limits, or because they have industries that employ foreigners. As a whole, however, 75% of the Dutch population consists of people born in the Netherlands to two Dutch parents. And the 25% ”foreign born” also includes people born in the Netherlands that have at least one foreign born parent. By those standards my daughters are immigrants as their mother was born in Finland. Yet I doubt that anyone who knows them (or sees them) would question their Swedishness. Heck, they’re even blonde and blue eyed.

The two biggest immigrant groups in the Netherlands are Turks (including Kurds) and Moroccans (including Berbers). Including the second generation (ie children born in the Netherlands) they make up nearly 5% of the Dutch population. Then you have immigrants from the former Dutch colonies Surinam, Indonesia and the Antilles that make up almost 6%. Some of those may actually be of Dutch descent, like a Canadian moving to the UK going into the statistics as a non-European immigrant.
But then, among the top ten countries of origin you also find Germany, Poland, Belgium and the UK. Could you really pick the Dutch kids out of a lineup that have German, Polish or Belgian parents? Good luck! These countries of origin combined make up another 5% of the population.

So basically, a maximum of one out of five Dutch people is born outside of Europe or has a parent that was born outside of Europe.
And the two main countries outside of Europe that they might come from border the Mediterranean and the EU. It’s not that easy to tell Greeks and Turks apart or to see who is Spanish or Moroccan. Especially considering that some of the Berber are blonde and blue eyed. One of the Turkish girls working at my office is even blonde, although I suspect she may dye her hair. And she’s married to a Swede, so she has a Swedish last name. I suspect her kids blend in just fine.

So, first of all, that Dutch girl is just fear mongering and second of all, this whole conspiracy theory, it’s crazy. Why would anyone want to replace the present population with another? That’s just silly.

Migration typically happens because people are either fleeing from war or persecution or because they are trying to create a better future for their children. Thus people from poor and war torn countries will always be moving to countries that are rich and safe. Simple as that. No one is orchestrating anything.*

* Well, except for the Russians, who offer people from Africa and the Middle East a free trip to the Finnish, Polish or Lithuanian border. But that’s not to replace a population, that is to create political tensions within the EU and Nato.
