Agree and I've defended that skinny little fuck forever. GTFO and don't let the door hit you on the ass.

The lot of them needed to be flushed. I'm hoping he's the last sour apple in the bag

Reality hits hard, eh? That's why you get demerits for constant shits-stirring and Megs gets a pass for his subtlety.

Butt seriously, it's time to ask if all of them are willing to waive and get a list. Treat Myers, Demmer, Garland and Brock with the respect they deserve if they agree. Set the plank out for ToxicPete.

Scrub this thing clean with bleach and have a complete do-over. Sit in the corner and STFU, Frankie... unless you already got a new regime ready to step in.

If EP is a highly renowned perennial Selke dude as some peeps here claim trade him to LA to replace Kopitar.

That's how I see it.

I see no evidence to suspect that Hughes holds any animosity towards the organization or the city.

Yeah agree.

But Vancouver fans need to feel angry like jilted lovers.

It's their defense mechanism.

This involves some considerations of which I don't think the fans have much knowledge: who actually wants to be a mentor, who's likely to be good at it, and who wants a shot on a serious competitor before their career ends. But yes, to the extent that it is possible, I'd like the Canucks to flip just about every asset over 26 for prospects, players, or picks who bode likely to peak in the next 5 years.

I've said before that I think Pettersson will struggle to return value for his cap hit for the rest of his career. I think the Canucks would actually have to pay to get rid of him, and they don't have the assets to spare. I think the best they could do is take back a bad contract on a player is playing even further below his cap hit, but is a quality character guy you want to be part of setting the new culture. No, I don't have any specific examples of a player who matches that profile right now.

Kent Johnson.

The Canucks currently ice EIGHT players from their 2024 playoff team.

Edit....I should add that Johnson is not a EP's salary structure but his play has fallen off a cliff and he will be RFA year after next.

Might be time for him to move along.

He's also a BC kid.

Ok, GM Lever, what can we get for M. Pettersson? Obviously not a conditional 1st rounder, but maybe some stick tape?
