You can only have one hobbit per quest. Quinn Hughes is already Bilbo so...we need some more men or elves in the fellowship
Your love of the halflings’ leaf has clearly slowed your mind. All that Longbottom has made you forget that there were 4 Hobbits on that quest, and two of them took the ring to Mt Doo(b).

The other Hughes to form our 4 hobbits? Tho Luke more man/elf. A Forsling in lieu of halfling?

Jack and Quinn taking the ring. Like it.

Read a joke today:

What do the Lord of the Rings and Brokeback Mountain have in common?

Both involved a ring getting destroyed.

I can't this post and not think of that joke.

So, what you're saying is...

Jack and Quinn taking rings

and Marner and Matthews destroying rings

are similar but not quite.

Pretty decent conversation.

Didn't really reveal much new information.

Put a positive spin on the team and the city.

Lots of props for Foote.

Agreed! Not much insight, just a thank you to the fans and the management.

Re: EP40 - “From the bottom of my heart, he is going to have a bounce back year,” Tocchet said. “He’s a great kid. He’s got to get his confidence for himself, but also his teammates. He’s got to get his teammates to have confidence in him again.”

Could this be because the 2 didn't see eye-to-eye?

Also: Petey likes to slow the game down
Needs to invent his game a little differently
Ya gotta evolve, I don't care who you are

So, With Brock leaving July 1st,

Does that leave Myers as the longest tenured Canuck?? (And not meaning just his neck)

That would make for a great trivia question. I think Brisebois is the longest-tenured in the organization.

Lol. Trick answer. Breezeeboi is this organization's version of the stapler guy from "Office Space". He was fired a long time ago. He just doesn't know it.

Neither does management, unless they like to keep him as a veteran presence in Abbottsford to show the kids the ropes when they get there. I think even he knows he's had his last cup of coffee.

Elliotte Friedman drops discouraging bombshell on Canucks fans!

https://www.canucksdaily.com/nhl-team/v ... -offseason

Has Vancouver become the new Winnipeg Jets, where nobody will want to sign up and play? It’s a Royal mess here and the new crew seems to be driving it into a toxic wasteland reminiscent of the DTES. Where’s Kenny Sims when you need him? Someone take a flamethrower to the whole organization. No practice arena, goofball owners, WTF has happened?

“the Canucks are desperate to fill some major holes up front and on their blue line“

Click bait - He obviously doesn’t understand the Canucks. He lost me at “desperate” to fix holes on the blue line.
There are two high end free agents, and both are light over priced wingers, who disappeared in the playoffs.
They are not what the Canucks should or will target.
Management is on top of their game if they don’t do much in the over priced UFA market.
A few cheap late summer UFA additions is the way to go.

Still think trading a goalie for a 2C will be the main basis for a trade, throwing in a McWard or Bains since they can’t clear waivers. If the centre is good enough, maybe add a Garland, or Sherwood since they are needing new contracts the season after next.
Management should be looking to stand pat with their defensemen.
It’s all good. They got this. I’ll keep drinking my half full cup of Joe this morning.
