What? Why? Because he's a big, old, slow defenceman who just got traded and then waived? No thanks.

He did play like two seasons in Vancouver, so I guess there is sentimentality.
and he wasn't very good back then, and worse now. Just what would he be insurance for? A fill in for an ECHL injury?

The sentimentality brigade can host a loser team in their own barn.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

You're right TopTop, let's just put Allen up in the Ring of Honor. Retiring his number is a bit too much.

If he was right-handed, I'd say "why not". But we don't need another lefty.

He never was quick, and I think his body is just about broken.

Don't make me go Mike Yeo on ya..

The day after a heartbreaking overtime loss to the conference-rival San Jose Sharks and the very day Vegas pegged him as a head coach on the hot seat, Mike Yeo snapped on the Minnesota Wild.

First reported by a series of tweets from Wild beat reporter Micheal Russo, Yeo halted practice Wednesday to tear into his team, which has lost eight of its last 10 games.

He then made the players bag-skate, slammed his stick, screamed and stormed off the ice.

“I think Yeozie finally lost it on us,” Vanek told Russ
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I always feel sorry for the goalies during the bag-skate.

What kind of bag-skate was that anyhow? No one was throwing up at the end of it. Poor effort all around on this one.
