They're only trying to think about 1-2 seconds from now.
Well played.
When I watched the replay on Toronto Sports Network and listening to the broadcaster going on and on about how it should count I wonder do the Canuck homer announcers go on like that?
John Garrett picks the Canucks to win the cup every year. He is 1000x worse than any Toronto broadcaster ever.

Matthews - 20 games - 12 goals 10 assists - 22 points
Boeser - 20 games - 11 goals 11 assists - 22 points

Can you imagine Nuckles, if the Canucks had won the lottery like your beloved Oilers (McDavid) and the Canucks ended up with Matthews? Wow. But fear not, Benning needs no lottery balls to land generational like Boeser (drafted 23rd overall). Elias Pettersen is on his way

Wow, I didn’t believe you and had to look it up.

I don’t think Boeser is generational until he proves himself for 2 more years but damn those numbers are good.

Let's just see how he's doing at the half-way point of this season. The kid is good, has a great shot(s), and knows where to be to get his great shot away. Generational? Just more extreme words for the kids here to play with....

Re-do the top 20 of the 2015 draft after what we know now

1. McDavid
2. Barzal
3. Werenski
4. Eichel
5. Boeser
6. Hanafin
7. Provorov
8. Rantanen
9. Marner
10. Chabot
11. Konecny
12. Connor
13. Gaudette
14. Carlo
15. Fischer
16. Zacha
17. Meier
18. Beauvellier
19. Strome
20. Eriksson Ek

The Bruins? Carlo better than Senyshyn, Debrusk and Zorbil? The Oilers have nothing for Barzal and Beauvelliet.Brilliant GMing by Chiapet and Sweeney.

leaves had Werenski, Hanafin and Provorov all within their grasp. Touché

Look at it this way - at least they have a chance to see our boys beat up on the Leaves in prime time. Besides, lots of teams are beating the Coilers these days.

I'll take it, having had to stay up till the weeeeeee hours just to catch the games in Newfoundland.

The whole team is in his dog house. After another awe inspiring performance against the hapless coil they're reeling pretty good.

Notice BT isn't here talking shit...he knows how the leaves blow

The wife and I are hosting a massive hockey party this afternoon/evening!

Some of the biggest Leaf-haters in the world will be there. :drunk: :drink:

Going off-line now to prepare, I'll be back posting tomorrow with a bag of ice on my cranium.
