Took me awhile, but we got there.
When like becomes absurd, they only proper response is to just laugh.
When you choose to be a Canucks fan, you kind of have to have a sense of humour of some sort. A big portion of those guys have good senses of humour, but humour is kind of being phased out. I had this teacher in grade 8, she told me "you can only make fun of straight, white, able-bodied men". Of course the term "cishet" hadn't been dreamt up to label people yet. I didn't really care for her, good heart but dumber than sin. I'm sure everyone here already knows why that's kind of a fucked up thing to say in front of basically 10-15 straight white boys. Took me a couple months, but we figured it out.
They fucked it all up. Pretty much everything in this fucking country is broken, and it's been like that for such a long time by my estimation now...I don't even believe anybody with an ounce of fucking common sense is capable of ever becoming Prime Minister. You kind of have to be retarded to want that kind of power.
I will stop by to say this, everyone who quit on being a Canucks fan at any point in the past 10 years is a fucking coward in my books. Loser attitude.

You kind of have to be mad to get my humour, it’s true. I’m not sure, hopefully alright. He was a pleasure to meet IRL, he was running limo tours as a hustle about 10 years ago.
I think he “outgrew” the boards. He couldn’t handle opinions of his own opinions. Great guy though, I’ll go to bat for him. I don’t really know him to back down from anything which I kind of enjoy.

He was too uptight 20 years ago, but he seems to have mellowed over time.
Wefolk have history with him both here, and going back to old Canucks Central.
He did try to fight Canucker at a shinny we did, with a giant shit-eating grin. He at least backs his reputation up, which gives me some respect towards him.
