Boy am I glad to have found you lot, its been something of a mystery of where the old crew from central had gone, Chris pulled the plug so fast and so abruptly that it seems no one had a chance to organize an orderly exit. I found a couple of former posters over at HF boards but it wasnt till I read about this site on Lionbackers.com and came here and saw the good news that there was a place for us refugees and the bad news about creeper...(takes hat off)

what happened to Creeper did his choice of lifestyle finally bring him down? is he up there somewhere with Morrison, Cobain and now Amy Winehouse or was it an accident, or something else?
I remember the first and last time he talked to me, the first time he told me to F**k off and get out of the OT forum, where upon he attacked my every post as pointless and useless and questioned my character and intelligence.
The last post I had from Creeper was a Laugh Out Loud at a joke about Homer Simpson selling his soul for a donut and creeper doing the same for Grey cup tickets.
a far as posters go I always had a smile when reading his posts and I was never bored and if i was lucky i would be occasionally be outraged

Hey uk.....you did what was required. You never took your ball and went home like so many others. If it werent for guys like creeper......we would have turned. Into calpuke years ago..those that make it throygh the hazung if you will are sokid contributors..for the most part..

There are others who takw on this role also..but this is creepers time..

Thanks Rats I did stick it out because in London I don't have many outlets for hockey talk and I think that there were some quality posters whose contributions at times would rival professional ink. not sure if that's a compliment to the amateur writer or a condemnation of the sorry state of professional sports journalism...

Anyway, I am looking forward to some good reads and some old and new arguments

I've been under a rock lately (Thank you army lol) and just found out that CC is shutdown. Glad to see some of the CC users are here. I look forward to intelligent hockey discussion on this board now.
