Concave Hollow Earth Hypothesis

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Yes this palce is deceivingly quiet right now.

It kinda feels like we're all standing around in the prison yard with our backs to the wall trying to size one another up.

Yeah, I came in on the bus this AM on a transfer with ODB and rats. When I made eye contact with Doc, he showed respect and acknowleged me - but I can't figure out if he's with the Aryan Brotherhood or the Southern Mexicans...... this worries me because we've done time together in other prisons - for the most part he's been a good guy to me but he's also a well known much-feared enforcer.

Guess I Just need to keep my head up and mind my own business..... oh who am I kidding I better make sure I have at least 6 magazines strapped around my vitals at ALL times!!

BTW, does this place only give out plastic sporks at chow?

::WINK::

that was eye winking! :D

I can't speak for doc Phil, but for the most part and now i am not saying he has a perfect record......butt most doc delivered bootfuckings have been somewhat deserved. I think due to alack of the sense of ownership over here you are safe at least for the time being. Imesho..
I am he as you are he as you are me

'Twas a joke ratman, just Joshin.

Wish I came up with something more creative than Phillip.....el lamo.

For the record, I'm not banned or 'exiled' from the other site. It's just very slow over there right now - kind of like here.

The open poles theory promoted by Symmes had been effectively undermined, but the belief in the Hollow Earth would only grow more popular. In 1846, the remains of a woolly mammoth, a creature long extinct, were discovered perfectly preserved in ice in Siberia. So suddenly had it been frozen, that the mammoth had not yet digested pine cones it had recently eaten. It was theorized that the animal had been caught by a climate change, but many questioned that such a change could have happened so quickly and thoroughly. Some people believed the animal had wandered out from the Hollow Earth through a hole at the North Pole.

You're right, sorry, I'll take part of the blame for this thread straying off topic....

The problem is that there is a LOT of confusion out there regarding the Concave Hollow Earth Hypothesis!

In fact most folks around the net can't seem to grasp the concept, almost always cofusing it with the other hollow Earth theory. Unbelievably, folks constantly quote the pioneers/major-contributors (Cyrus Teed, Mostafa Abdelkaderof, Martin Gardner) of the Concave theory when clearly referring to the other theory! The two theories have absolutely NOTHING to do with each other (one theory is simply saying the Earth exists the way you've been taught to understand it + massive open space within; the other says basically what lies beyond the stars in the night when one looks upwards from the Fraser Valley is.... China!

The other theory says there are TWO Earth surfaces, the OUTSIDE of the ball we walk around on... and the INSIDE of the ball where wotever creatures walk around (those creatures look "up" in the direction of the centre of planet Earth, where some suggest a MUCH small central sun exists btw).

In contrast, the Concave theory says there is only ONE surface, the one we walk around on. HOWEVER we walk around on the INSIDE of the ball (sun, moon, planets, stars are all in the middle of the ball). The fact that light bends plays a huge role in this theory.

So let's look at this again:

Image

See how the sun moves around in a circle parallel to the surface of Earth?

Now what I've been asking is this. When there is an earthquake in Italy, seismic readings of that event can be picked up in New Zealand (are you looking at the picture?). I'm wondering why... or how, if you will... in conjunction with this theory. I'm wondering... say... how deep we could dig into the earth (if the capability do so beyond a few miles existed). Could you dig for billions of miles? Would it be endless?

My initial research (I haven't had much time, mind you) is going nowhere. As I said, the two theories are confused constantly, with very little understanding of the Concave Hollow Earth Hypothesis out there. Seriously, the level of confusion is mind-boggling! It doesn't help that Wikipedia presents both theories on the same "Hollow Earth" page!

All this with the other theory being mostly conjecture, and the Concave theory being empirically irrefutable!

"most mathematicians believe that an inside-out universe, with properly adjusted physical laws, is empirically irrefutable".
