So far you've jinxed the Canes like I did to Wallstedt.

Ha yeah but I stand by my assertion. The flyers don't have a hope against this canes crew

Way to prognosticate, Cuz (aka Blues legend, Blind Squirrel)

Even I didn't think Carolina would broom Philly like this.

Tocch got Cane'd like he spat out his gum in Singapore.

Carolina is just a machine. They are what I think Tocchet wants his teams to be.

The pressure up the walls on the forecheck, the aggressive pk, the swarming of pucks, the speed from top to bottom of the lineup...then on top of it all that defense is big and mobile. It's pretty solid recipe Rod the Bod is rocking out there.

Who is left that can break them down? Maybe the Avs or Wild only

Yeah, 8 consecutive playoffs now. They always look strong... but just can't seemingly get over the hump. 3 Conference Final losses. Maybe this is the year the get past it?

Imagine picking your #1 center in the 2nd round, while his much more highly-rated linemates from Finland's golden era quickly burned out.

Laine?

In which draft did they pick their #1 centre?

They picked Aho in the 2nd round, 35th overall in the McDavid draft.

We picked the Flow 23rd overall.

Hindsight.

One of the growing pains young teams with little playoff experience go through is the "Happy to be here" syndrome.

Some of Philly's players took their foot off the gas a little - and then realized Carolina is a different animal than a slower, aging Pens team.

And as we all saw too well here, Tocchet doesn't adjust in time, or much at all.

Game 4 is too late to make the adjustments he did.
