More like fuck-the-rangers-and-take-a-piss-on-MSG-blood-hate or a fuck-everything-to-do-with-Toronto-based-soley-on-their-god-forsaken-hockey-team-blood-hate. Much more than regular hockey hate. Other than location, Seattle hasn't done anything yet. They can settle in near Columbus in the ranking for now.

While I will likely hate them in 3-4 years time, my first thought is we should have an easier travel schedule. And, if they promise to claim Eriksson in the expansion draft, I'll promise to buy season tickets.

It would be worth a pick if they promised to take Eriksson and left everyone else alone. Depending upon who we had to expose I’d give them a 2nd rounder.

With the announcement official teams can start planning asset management. Don’t sign Hughes until July, forget him getting games this season and keep him exempt. My two cents
