Any info on the offer? I am on the fence on this 'trade' really will come down to what we give up.

UFA defenseman Brenden Dillon on #TSN1040 on would he like to sign with hometown Canucks : Any Surrey kid would love to play in Vancouver, it would be a place I would be interested in.

Yeah, who I expect. In some ways I would hate to see Juolevi go, would love his ELC on the 3rd pairing to save some cash, but you have to give and take. As said before, I will withhold final judgement on any 'trade' until after we know the particulars.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:31 pm @DhaliwalSports

just said,
"Names involved in Canucks' offers have included Juolevi, Eriksson and Sutter."
Was reading the Dillon tweets on twitter.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:40 pm Apparently the Canucks hold all the leverage as OEL has only agreed to waive for Canucks at this point. Losing both Eriksson and Sutter would make the cap work for now for the Canucks and Coyotes would only have to worry about those two for one and two years respectively. SO they may not get out from under the cap for a couple of years but they need the cap hit. Its real dollars they want to save. And they save a bit with this deal in the short term but long term they would do well.
The Canucks would then sign Dillon if Tanev does not sign. Pittsburgh is really ready to pull the trigger on him and man thats tampering.
Hughes plays the right side! In fact Hughes has said numerous times he is equally as comfortable on both sides.theman wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:41 pmWas reading the Dillon tweets on twitter.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:40 pm Apparently the Canucks hold all the leverage as OEL has only agreed to waive for Canucks at this point. Can OEL play the right side? Does Dillon play the right side too? If all 3 scenarios happen, how do you see our D core shaping up next year?
Great, so how would you envision our pairing and D core shaping up? If this all happens.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:43 pmHughes plays the right side! Fuckin rights man! Its about time the canucks got a break. OEL is a big, tough 2 way defenseman who hammers on the walls and from the point. He is the type of impact piece that the team needed a month ago. Sure thats a heavy yoke but fuck around....now is the time to go all in. Pitt has been doing it like this for generations and the last i checked they have championship banners dangling from the raftersHockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:40 pm Apparently the Canucks hold all the leverage as OEL has only agreed to waive for Canucks at this point.
Maybe so but why mess with something that's working so well?Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:43 pm
