So Mats Sundin Dave Andreychuk Doug Gilmour and Wendel Clark all in their primes werent as good as you team that has won 5 games in October while giving up 5 goals against a game?

No they were not. In fact Clark played on horrific teams until his final 2 years in Toronto.
This isn't about 1 player. The depth on the leaves is incredible. Mats Sundin use to play with laughable 3rd line wingers in Toronto under Quinn. Matthews has guys like Nylander and in the future Marner to play with.
When have the leaves ever had 20 and 21 year-olds as good as Matthews/Marner/Nylander at the same time? Answer is never.
Give me a leaves team in the past 40 years that's had this talent? The answer is 0.

Look there's no doubting it's a promising young team with lots to look forward to but you really need to step back and see it for what it is before you show up only after wins to proclaim your teams' place in the hall of fame

They do not have 2 guys carrying them. They have 4 lines that can score. And to correct you their worst time of the year last season was October. They were very good in the second half.
