Too bad #12 wasn't available to Harvin in NY.

It looks to me like Drew ain't comfortable back there behind that line and Graham is an outlet for him when under duress, as was Sproles.
IMO Brees feels too much pressure when the D is atrocious as he feels he needs to score 30+ points each week to give his team a chance.

Graham usually draws two defenders, so when he isn't available things definitely tighten up. Think you're right about Sproles and Graham not being available. The downgrades have been pretty dramatic.

The home/away disparity is just getting weird.

Oh well. Going down in a couple weeks to catch LSU vs. Bama then NO vs SF. Should be fun!

Bama should roll LSU. There'll be lots of Bama fans, that's for sure.

Should be good!

Indeed.

She'll be at my side with her Drew Brees jersey on. She's the kind of girl that begs me to take her to games. Pretty sweet.

...and in the blink of an eye herbs Saints are 4 - 4, first in their divison and (blessedly) with 5 road games out of the way.

So minimum 9 - 7 then eh herb?

At Steelers, Bears and Bucs - two eminently winnable games there at minimum.

Home schedule a little bit rougher with Niners, Bengals, Ravens, Panthers and Falcons.

I see 10 wins and a home playoff game.

Probabaly bitch slap the Cowboys in round one (if they make it) and hit the road for game two.

And lose.

:P

And when the Saiiiiints, go marching innnnnn. Oh when the Saiiiiiints go marching in. Oh I want, to bee in that numberrrrr. When the Saiiiiiints go marching innnn.

A couple of nice bitch slaps in a row (Packers then Panthers). Fuck me, when Brees had another bad break on the road on that opening drive redzone pick I was having a bit of a hissy fit, but thankfully they kept it together. More bad luck piled up on Brees' first quarter fumble, too.

Has Cam Newton been figured out, or is just the same formula as against any QB (pressure, collapse the pocket, contain)? The offensive line surely isn't that good right now (three regulars out I believe), but the Saints' front four has been playing much better since the Dallas beat down.

I'm still pissed they blew games late against the Falcons, Browns and Lions, but thankfully Carolina has pulled together a string of losses.

I agree Don, Saints should be able to win 6 of 8 remaining games. Next three home games are tough though, with SF, Cincy and Baltimore, but the Saints on a roll with three home games in a row at the Dome?

I caught bits and pieces of the first half while carving pumpkins with my son.

UGLY

I admit I had hopes for Cam but after seeing his strained theatrical showboating on every 1st down last week in contrast to his lost vacant expression sitting on the bench looking at stills after yet anther force dumb decision to through to the DB, I'd look at sending him to Oakland.

Through low over the middle is a fundamental lost on him.

They're still looking at stills in Carolina?

Everyone else has real time video on a pad now.

Maybe to deep for Mr. Newton.

Cams whole SUPERMAN thing turned me off from day one.

Lots of raw talent but the guy just reeks of me first.

Imesho.

Better to lose 'em early than lose 'em late.

Looks to me like the Saints have turned the corner.

Coach and QB are to high end for them to suck for overly long periods....

I had a good laugh when Cam bit his tongue and was spitting up blood. Quite chewing gum and put in a mouth piece FFS. Hate the Gatorade towel burkha he puts on too. Too cool for a ball cap Cam?

Microsoft will hunt you down if this post Surfaces.

With Smith now in Baltimore, Cam's headsize is unrestricted.
