Sprong said he had a chat with Tocc first b4 he signed her though. Sounds like the coaching staff are willing to give him a chance and kinda sold him on coming here. Tocc has a history with him in Pitts as well, so he knows what he's getting.

If Sprong can have a Kuzzy type year with us, it'll be found money.

Both 1 year deals just under $1M, after which: UFA.

Let's just hope that... NO MATTER WHAT... they don't offer Sprong $5.5M x 2.

Hopefully they've learned their lesson.

I'd bet my net worth Sprong at 5.5x2 in Vancouver doesn't happen next year.

He had to add to the deal to dump Kuzmenko.

Would've been better off not signing Kuz to that $5.5M x 2.

Butt hind sight is 20/20.

I'm sure they won't repeat that mistake with Sprong, even if he explodes in Van.
