I actually cannot figure out how LL gets away with some of his shit. Like, why did players tolerate it and play for him?
Do you rock a mullet, Mëds?
Not since 91.

For some reason, they're stripping Abby completely bare. According to the broadcast, Mueller and Bains were out with the flu yesterday. Abby had to go with eleven forwards. Will they go with ten tonight?

Yeah...saw your lineups in the Abby Forum and wondered about the 11/7.

The optics of some of the things they do down there are puzzling.

Yet Malhotra keeps on winning.

Elias Pettersson, number 40, to be shut down for the remainder of the season. Although he is recovering and would likely have made a return for the playoffs, well, we ain’t going to the dance.

Tochett says likely to be shut down as they haven’t talked to him yet. Hey Elias, you heard it here first, for free.

Unless of course you read it in The province.

Forbert suffered a broken orbital bone after taking that cheap shot. He is done for the season, obviously.

Canucks now have to call up someone from Abby. No word yet on who that will be. I suppose they dont really need to call anyone up with just two games left and they could sign Young Tom. But it is a good opportunity to give some reward, although you dont want someone integral to Abby to get injured either.

Demko is done for the season as well. He is recovering from a flu like illness and they see no point in playing him again.

Tolopilo will get one of the final 2 games.

Tyler Myers likely done as well. He wont play Monday but no need to rush him to play the final game. Jet Woo may get the call up as a reward but no decision made yet. It could also be McWard.

Chyle returned to practice in a surprise move. He was wearing a non contact jersey and will not play again this season but his recovery is looking good.

I guess the one good thing about an early end to playoff hopes is we can shut down a lot of players who would ordinarily push to return for meaningful games and let them jump start their off season training. I wonder why Quinn is still playing? I guess he demands it?

Brisebois would be the safe choice who could do the job for a couple of games, but I wouldn't mind Kudryavtsev getting a chance.

Here's the Tocchet interview, although Wids has already covered everything in her post. https://youtu.be/5pdmbXoswp8?si=djnAxmjhh7VxnYsC

Why wouldn't Quinn play?

Simply because he is still recovering from his oblique injury. I suppose if he cannot do it any more harm then no risk. And I guess one extra week of an off season he does not need. I think really it is his call.

He's a driven player. Probably want's to hit 80 points and be in that top 3 for Norris voting again. He's a hockey nerd- loves the game. I doubt he will play in Worlds. So these are last games till fall.

Our old buddy Bert with an interesting take on the EP40/Millzy Drama:

(Donnie & Dhali show, around 6:20 mark)
I follow. Unfortunately, there's just so much drama that's happened out there that it was getting kind of annoying and hard to watch. I just couldn't understand how two men couldn't figure it out and come to a compromise because that J.T. Miller, he's a legit game-breaker. He's one of those guys that when you have them, you want to keep them.

It was hard seeing him go and I have so much respect for Toc [Rick Tocchet] and Adam Foote and that staff that I was surprised it carried on for that long.

I feel it was more Miller vs World than Miller vs Petey.

I believe the rumours that he was a dink to everyone.

Other players, coaches, training staff, doctors, etc.

Yo Millzy, you're only supposed to be a jackass against the opposing teams, not with your own teammates as well.

Remember the apparent - Miller/Horvat fued the team denied? Seems to hold water now.

This is where Allvin fucked up, and where the dominoes of all the following Allvin fuck ups began, shoulda traded Miller instead of Horvat. Miller’s value at the time was substantial.

Anybody but Breezeboi. He's a #9 d-man and isn't going to blossom into a 5-6 guy. Give the games to a prospect. It's a reward and it helps with development. Kuddy ( he needs a short nickname) or Woo is my choice. Or Willander.
