Some of the witnesses (fellow protesters) admit a crowd of protesters began pummeling the vehicle after a tooting of the horn.

There is a video on youtube clearly showing that the protesters didn't clear away from the car/scatter until shots were fired.

The shooter was questioned and released.

See. Car did not "speed towards the crowd" and the crowd did not "immediately scatter, all but Foster"

... in fact, just the opposite!

They immediately converged on the car and only scattered after shots rang out.

The motorist slowly turns the corner and stops completely when he sees the massive crowd.

The crowd races TOWARDS the car and I've seen reports (google it) saying they began beating on the car

... which is standard procedure in these "peaceful protests" no?

We know Garret had his AK47 pointed at the ground a few seconds before he was shot.

But I've seen reports of witnesses saying he pointed it at the motorist just before being shot.

... but I suspect even YOUR link speaks of the witnesses who saw Foster point his weapon.
