The ownerships commitment to not accumulating young assets and overpaying middling vets?

Yeah...I said somewhere at the beginning of this thread I sure wish we HD a GM like Billy G and an owner like Leipold who let him do his thing.

..and the oh so frail Marco Rossi Cuz is worried about, deadlifting mid 300's and looking thick in all major muscle groups.
No commitment issues here either....

Gotta ackowledge Bracketts work during those dark days in Minny following the buyout of Parise and Suter which put something like $14 Million per season for a number of seasons of dead cap on their books...
And they did it during the flat cap era...
Really is impressive...

Let's hope the honeymoon lasts - the kid has a lot to live up to.

We got a 2-1 win today. Hopefully it wasn't just a dead cat bounce. But, i was surprised at how good Buium really is.

Didn’t see the game, but when I saw the summary and that Buium had 1 and 1 I was like…..ok then, that’s a good debut.
Then I saw the goal and assist. LOL.
Some say that Jews are incredibly lucky when it comes to succeeding at what they do…..both of those points are exactly that. Historically Canucks could use that in spades.
I’m looking forward to seeing what we have in this guy.

I guess there is always Aquilini's baffling loyalty to those two bumblers.

Yeah, I think many of us, myself included, saw the rebuild actually happening (and acknowledged by JR) and saw the return only included a single draft pick in the return (a bottom 10 at that) and felt like that wasn't enough. In general when a trade includes a 20 year old dman that guy is someone who they have given up on.
I do like the addition of Rossi. I think he's a solid 2C, he's young, and should still improve.
That 1st rounder could be flipped in a deal that trades up in the draft too.

I will just let it sink in and it will make sense or it won't.
Sink in? I feel like they sorta stand out.....
