Again, maybe the Sutter contract ain't that bad? :drink:
Shaw is more of a winger than a centre. He is also still 24 so there is still some upside and he likely won't get that type of contract if Bergevin is smart. Honestly I wouldnt want either player at 4.4 million. I think they would both be overpaid at that rate in a cap world.
Benning said today that Bergevin is pulling a sign-and-re-trade with Shaw. Image

The score ranked all gms today and looky where Benning lands...last. Even lower than the expansion gm lol
Jim Benning is either in executive prison, and carrying out another's agenda, or Vancouver's obvious lack of mindful direction is his enormously misguided modus operandi
Edit-not agreeing just laughing. Funnily enough torontoilet ranked 11th so a little hard to take it very seriously

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Maybe if the GM got his 1st round pick signed as easily as luscious Lou Lamirello he'd be higher on the list...

The Score? Hmmm. Created and based out of Toronto, where nobody likes all things Vancouver. Wow what a mailed in list. The work put into it must've been exhausting

That's fine Doc. Thing is most every hockey publication has been ridiculing Elmer and the management/coaching staff for better than a year now. His moves have generated a massive amount of head scratching and chuckling in EVERY city. I for one love his decisiveness even if I have only liked a handful of his moves. He has balls, I'll give him that. Funny because when he played he was softer than Radim Vrbata.

The fact you think the negativity towards Elmer is solely in the east is funny.

As I said before, weak-bladdered Nuckers got their panties in a bunch when a GM with "balls" finally arrived.

Enemies in the east saw the opportunity presented by said urinators and proceeded to jump all over dat dere.

The "funny" part will come in a few years when the entire hockey world will be forced to admit GMJB's genius.

And you are well aware of the fact YOUR Canucks are one of the most hated NHL teams over the last 5 years.

Yup..The city was hated since the Olympics, (cause we did such a bang-up job), hated even more when we were the best team in the league (the very next year), and the riot? Well that too. But that was going to happen win or lose as it was totally incited and planned by out of towners. Use your imagination as to where some of them were from... ;)

Blobbee never struck me as one of the ones who would potentially urinate the Canuck streets like a broken fire hydrant during a rebuild, retool once the a core has gone past their due date. Rebiuild, Retool, an ugly process that can test ones patience, a time that can bring to the forefront if you are truly a panicking pee pants'er or a cool and understanding dude of the ugly process and knowing,'having the clear vision, that this process will undoubtedly pay great fandom awards. In the mean time - the panic urinating, I am entertained by those who unleash it

Calling out a gm who mangles the salary structure, bleeds assets and targets 3rd and 4th line players and calls them foundational players is urinating. Cool beans.

It's not as banana cakes as you wax on about, Wild Duck Inn. It's the Process of the vision of the Megamind Benning. Sit back, chill the umbrella drinks, enjoy his deft moves. We are witnessing pure Geniusness.
