In the regular season Andersen ranked 17th in save% and 30th in goals-against-per-gm.BigTuna wrote:We have Andersen for the next 4 years. He was a top 10 goalie this season.
(among goalies playing 25 or more games)
As of now in the playoffs he ranks 15th out of the 19 goalies in save% and 14th in goals-against-per-gm.
Pretty shitty for a guy getting $5M-per with 3 concussions in the last calendar year.
You can't honestly be excited about 4 more years of Andersen... can you?

Nope, Kadri is more of a 23 goal, 46 point centre who doesn't kill penalties.BigTuna wrote: I never want to see Kadri go. 4.5 million for a 30 goal, 60 point two-way centre in his prime? Never move those guys.
But of course Doc feels Kadri should be getting about 2 million per season. He knows his stuff.
8 goals in his last 29 games (inc playoffs) is a 22.6 goal pace over 82 games.
Kadri has 115 goals in 412 NHL games (inc playoffs) = 22.8 goal pace over 82 games.
He is what he is.
Sure he feasted on the NHL's number one PP earlier in the season
... but then teams began to figure that shit out.
And I don't recall ever saying how much money I think he ought to be making...

Yes a two-way very good #2 centre on a fantastic contract.Strangelove wrote:Nope, Kadri is more of a 23 goal, 46 point centre who doesn't kill penalties.BigTuna wrote: I never want to see Kadri go. 4.5 million for a 30 goal, 60 point two-way centre in his prime? Never move those guys.

Whatever dude, like I say he's a 23-goal guy who plays on the #1 power play

Doc probably thinks Sutter is better than Kadri.
Probably thinks he's tougher too.

And you claim he's vastly overpaid and will not say what you think he should be making. 2 million is what I think you believe.Strangelove wrote:A two-way centre who never kills penalties!BigTuna wrote: Yes a two-way very good #2 centre on a fantastic contract.
