Actually, I find Taylor tired and obnoxious now. In particular when paired with Barry MacDonald. I too grew up watching the boys of Sports Page, and thoroughly enjoyed the local talent reporting the local teams. But that was then, and this is now. The old boys club of that era have dominated the local AM radio the past several years to ad nauseum.

Morning show: impossible to listen. Jake knows SFA about sports, and Pratt's schtick is beyond obvious/old.
Sekeres/Price: Price is a loser and Sekeres' voice, in particurer, needs to pull the clothes peg off his nose
B-Mac/Taylor: I enjoy their Ferarro segments, but without a guest on, they enjoy themselves a little too much.
B-Mac/Gallagher: I just don't care about Gallagher whatsoever. Never have, never will. But for whatever reason, he gets a whole lotta love from the boys club.
Paterson: iiiiiih-uuuuuuuuuuuh, but-uuuh-ya-know....

Am I missing any one? Didn't think so.

CBC, 90's at noon (which isn't even the whole hour anymore), 980/1130 for local news and a whole lotta Songza dominate my ears. 1040 at the deadline, and July 1st if I got nothing better to do, that's about it.

I also liked Scott Rintoul's morning show. Haven't listened to him since he moved to evenings.

Perhaps the Canucks should look into hiring some of Stephen Harper's media relations people. Write something negative about the coach, get held up by Rogers arena security for a period and a half. Question Dear Leader, no interviews for your entire organization until after the Draft.
