Could you translate that please Blob, right over my head that last senty
Stankhoven; while short is scoring at a 43 point pace while getting little special teams icetime.
WE could have drafted StinkOven. We drafted Danila Klimovich. As per usual this organization ignores Western Canadian boys for decades. These kids want to play in BC/Alberta. We keep fucking shitting the bed looking at our own. Quinn made it a policy to draft and bring back local kids. He made it community. Dude saved this franchise.

This years dead cap consists of OEL ($2.35), Mikheyev ($713k) and Poolman ($500k) for a total of $3.56
Next year OEL jumps ($4.77) Mikheyev ($713k) for a total of $5.483
An increase of $1.923 mill. (Offset by dumping Deshernais)

I read something about a guy named "Cherry" involved in the cap penalty. I have no idea who "Cherry" is. The OEL debacle is the third worst trade in Canucks history. Though I'm sure my late Dad might want to bring up why they needed to trade Jerry Korab. Im an expansion baby, I only saw him play with Buffalo and the Kings.
I wasn't barking at you Wids. I apologize if it came out that way.

Not at all. I just didn’t understand what you were trying to get at. Now I do. No question we could do better at drafting if we had do overs or a crystal ball.

O'Conner's feet move faster than his hands and his brain. If his hands catch up to his feet he'll be Mason Raymond. Mason was a fine 3rd line player.

If his head and hands catch up he will be a better 3rd line winger. Raymond was the antithesis of a physical player, he had skill and smarts, but remained a perimeter player.
Our current version of Pettersson is a better comparison to Raymond.....although I'd take Raymond over Eleven Pointsixersson right now because at least Raymond could stay on his feet and had a really good first step.

Whenever I see Pettersson mentioned in Mëds posts that is my cue to stop reading the post. I wish I was kidding
But yeah O’Connor is the classic - has all the tools but no toolbox. Unfortunately due to my experience as a hockey fan, the toolbox is never found for these toolboxless athletes. Is what it is.
I’m really not grooving on these watered down returns on the top end players we’ve been trading - Miller and Horvat.
Chytil, O’Connor and MPete for Millsey? Not so sure anymore. Two of the Horvat returns were garbage (Raty and Beauvillier), the pick was turned into Hronek and I guess that’s decent, I suppose. But maybe Alvin and Ruth need to focus on trading talent for talent from now on, because these watered down returns, which are essentially quantity over quality, are the very reason why this teams talent level keeps getting worse with every trade they make.
We essentially have one all-star now, Hughes. If Petey returns to form we have two. If Demko stops getting injured we have three. But that’s a big IF. And even two all stars ain’t enough to getterdun.

(Canucks have) been one of the league’s biggest tire fires, dragging itself through the mud with infighting and endless distractions that infuriated fans and saw management trade the wrong star.
So it's settled, thank you Eric Francis, whoever the fuck you are...
