I have a strong feeling JVR is gone anyways. They won't keep the exact same roster.
Well at least he's finally realizing his Leaves won't have the extra capspace he thought. :D

That's right, they can afford the current roster but they won't be able to improve the team next year.

The Law of Averages indicates they won't have anywhere near as much luck in the Injury Dept next year.

And opposing teams will feel more free to smack "the kids".

Kadri won't score as many goals next year, I think you know that.

He's 9th in the league in PP goals on the #1 PP in the league (teams will figure that shit out).

45th in even strength goals.

And the 'face of your franchise' is a pigman!

Since when do you spend money tio improve the roster? It's not like they'll sign an ex[ensive, useless UFA like Loui Erikkson.

You're clearly saying signing UFA's is how to improve. You are not very knowledgeable on how to build a team in 2017. (Including your comments on building from the net out and only big players are valuable).

The leaves signed the best UFA last season-Nikita Zaitsev.

At -22 with 36 points, on a (at this point) playoff-bound team, it would seem that he's one of the worst defenders in hockey.

Also, Alexander Radulov says hi.

This is what the leaves have to show for Seguin, Hamilton and a yearly 1.2 million payment to Kessel - Andersen the legendary big game/playoff choke artist! LOLOLOL

The leaves farm team coach regarding the leaves best D prospects - "they are yeeeeeeeeaaaaarrrrrrsss away!"

Keep on keepin on Team Smurf

You can't win the mean something season called the playoffs unless you have Big League Goaltending and Big League Defence. It's all Bush League in the nets and defence for the leaves. Good luck in trying to build those areas of the ice, Tuna. The hardest positions to build are Goaltending and Defence. The leaves are yeeeeeaaaaarrrrrs away in that department. Years!

Wrong.

YOU were bragging about how much capspace your Leaves will have moving forward.

I proved you wrong.

NOW you say capspace isn't important!

I am saying signing overpriced UFA's is not important.
You seem to believe the leaves have the worst cap situation. Have you looked around the league?

Huh? Goaltending is by far the easiest position. Andersen has great numbers BTW. What are you yammering on about? The best goalies have no cup rings. Have you not noticed this? Where is Price's cup? Lundqvists'? Dubnyk's?

An incompetent organization in Edmonmton got a very good starter for cheap who was a backup. Same with San Jose. Same with Toronto.

leaves have 5 60+ point players. Best depth by far in the NHL. And the top 3 are 19, 19 and 20 years old.

Middle of the pack in save% this year (right there with Reimer + Bernier) :D

Near the bottom in GAA this year (lower than Reimer + Bernier)

Right, why on Earth would any team want one of "the best goalies"... right?

Not to be an asshole butt of those 3 Toronto paid the most by far (1st + 2nd)

... also got the worst of the 3 statistically and otherwise

... also gave out the biggest contract of the 3 by far. :mex:

Oh right, capspace doesn't matter to you anymore...
