I'm enjoying this - it's good to see a story like this expanded to 3 days, and not jammed into 90 minutes.
I'm guessing that shows what the old CC was all about?

He is being taken to King's landing where he will be "hand-ed" over to his sister.
For those who read the book

Does that take place in the third book?

It's funny in a twisted sort of way, when George Carlin popped his clogs Bill Maher was the default replacement for me any way. He can make a lot of politicians look like scum bags....and that's not bad IMO

I never miss Real Time...
But I don't like Bill Maher all that much. In fact most of what he says pisses me off. He gave a million dollars to the Obama compaign and hasn't stopped reminding his viewers since. It's been months and he still finds a time to bring it up every week. He has his moments. Sometime I totally agree with what he's saying and even when I don’t agree with him, his show is funny! I also like that it's well, topical! I like having an idea of what’s going on politically down south. That way I won’t be totally taken by surprise when they start bombing us to take our oil...

Those McCoys are such assholes. I wonder if the feud will re-ignite now that they've all watched the show...

Yes, but I'm not sure if the TV series will continue to follow the same path as the books. The next 3 books will be harder to convert directly then the first 2 were.
Jamie becomes a main character in the 3rd book, and Tyrion isn't even in the 4th. I don't think the series will go a full year with our the little Dink. They will have to re-work things, and pick the characters they want to follow.
It will also be interesting to see what happens down the road, their are only 5 books written over 20 years, season 3 is already under way and with the ratings on this season a 4th is a lock.
If things continue to progress, the TV series is going to catch up to the book.
