This place still has the characters, but the roster is becoming dangerously depleted.

Yeah Curm was born under a wandering star.

I remember him posting at HF until he got pissed at a bunch of them.

Donny is known for his hiatuses, his life gets busy...

Carl usually takes the summers off I think.

Esq? I think Blob chased him off.

And yeah, half a dozen of us have kicked the bucket. :(

Come on lurkers, help us out!

Is the new CDC going to survive?

I wouldn't worry about it, they must anger easily. :D

Anyway, if they go down, maybe some of their best will head our way.

It is a challenge to post over there. No one really takes to time to read. They argue about silly things and you have to weigh through page after page of drivel. I do try from time to time but man when you count your remaining life span in how many summers you may have left, well I don’t have time.

Yeah that's exactly the experience. Digging through heaps of some of the most infantile takes imaginable trying to find signs of intelligent life. I don't miss it at all. I'm really not sure what prompted me to sign up.

I posted an AI image of a well endowed Greta Thunberg in a red bra in their 'climate' thread and it made this very tightly wound new mod 'Sharpshooter' lose his mind. "WE DON"T ALLOW PORNOGRAPHY HERE!" I'd do it again.

They also have this angry, argumentative half native guy who counts himself some kind of forum champion who became enraged when I ventured that the Spittin Chiclets guys might be onto something during the Mike Babcock drama in Columbus and blathered on and on about how dare anyone question Saint Babcock and how dare I question the official media narrative. That alone probably made my whole brief misadventure there worthwhile.

Same old people saying the same old things over and over again.
Y'know, now that I think about it, this happens at every forum on the interwebs.

Now see, a guy like that wouldn't last a week here.

Say what you will about CC, but we don't tolerate total douchbags here.

Yeah, lol it was a pretty embarrassing situation for a lot of folks over there though most had the decency to do a public climb down from their position.

But not that guy, he just continued on as if nothing happened. You're right, he would meet with a terrible fate here.

I used to post on the old usenet alt.sports.hockey.nhl.canucks chat group. There were some good posters there, like foamy and ajh. If I can find them, I'd invite them over.

Man, that OEL interference fine looked heavy handed for what it was.
A penalty would've been suffice IMHO.

Looked to me like OEL targeted the head in retaliation for an earlier roughing play by Guentzel:

$5000 is chump change to a guy like OEL, should have suspended him for a game.

BTW I've noticed both OEL and Tanev are playing very hard thus far.

No doubt trying to justify their contracts and win over Leaves fans.

These old men cannot keep this up and will help fulfill my injury predictions should they try.
