(1) It's actually Mr Robert Geldof, KBE. The title Sir is reserved for British citizens, and Bob is Irish.
(2) He has three, Fifi, Peaches and Trixie, plus he has also adopted their half sister Tiger Lily Hutchence-Geldof, who is the daughter of INXS singer Michael Hutchence and Bob's ex wife Paula Yates. After both Michael and Paula had died (the former from possible suicide, possible sex game gone wrong, Paula from an over dose, possibly suicide), Bob figured it'd be best for Tiger Lily to be with her siblings.
