It's a little like here where every other thread seems to devolve into an anti Gillis shit show.....the only difference is that they are complaining about the current GM, not the one who was handed his walking papers 5 years ago.

Blob, reef, and island provide a nice counterpoint to dude and doc, difference is they’re not nuts. they can see the good along with the bad.

I think it's fairly easy to pull the data from CC and see that the anti-JB posts outnumber the eye-bags ones at least 15-1.

99% of those posts don't even mention "Gillis" or have any other references to him. They are typically in response to you and your crew constantly going on about "Elmer" and Benning this, Benning that... for the last 4-5 years.

Benning is the current GM. He should be talked about. The Benning brigade has his back like a pack of wolves.

I see the situation somewhere in the middle. To me Elmer has been not too shabby since Early 2017. Before that he deserved the heat he got for some of the boneheaded trades and signings. Sure he fucked up with Gagner and Gudbranson- horrid signings. But for the most part he seems to be finally embracing the rebuild the whole city has been screaming for since 2013
