You already know where the pick is going. To Minny for Rossi along with someone big...Joshua maybe
Jugg Brackett will be picking one of the above
If you need air...call it in

We don't need more shrimps. If we do, get Marchand. He is a shrimp, and a prick, and cheaper.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 4:30 pmYou already know where the pick is going. To Minny for Rossi along with someone big...Joshua maybe

Or the Five Niner line. Or the Sixty Niner Line. 69 inches is five foot nine.

Rumours the Blackhawks are offering up their 3rd OA pick for Peterka. The premiums are escalating

Re: 2025 NHL Draft Class
I haven't seen any of them play. But from what I read, Reschny seems like he has the highest likelihood of being a bust, without offering any more upside (that I can detect from a scouting report) than any of the others.
I'm sure the ownership/management group is prepared to move the pick if they get an offer they like. It might be a matter of a player someone else wants falling a little bit and still being available at 15, and then making a more attractive off than what they have heard so far. I don't think that the franchise has enough total assets to build a contender around QH, but by now we have established that the ownership/management group doesn't see the team development process the same way I do.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 4:30 pm

Yup, they don’t have the horses, plain and simple. What worries me are the dumb as shit waste of time moves they will make to try and get those quality assets around Hughes. In the meantime the asset pool or pipeline is getting awfully shallow or dry the more they try. It’s dismalRonning's Ghost wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 6:24 pm I don't think that the franchise has enough total assets to build a contender around QH, but by now we have established that the ownership/management group doesn't see the team development process the same way I do.

Funny, I share the same trepidations regarding Reschny. I’m hoping for Bear.Ronning's Ghost wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 6:24 pm

Re: 2025 NHL Draft Class
D-men Rasmus Andersson and Noah Dobson are apparently being shopped.
Re: 2025 NHL Draft Class
I have not seen him play, but that seems alot for JJ Peterka JJ. Mind you, he is obviously NHL ready, and he fits into Bedard's timeliness. Still, is Buffalo trying to suck forever?Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Mon Jun 23, 2025 4:39 pm Rumours the Blackhawks are offering up their 3rd OA pick for Peterka. The premiums are escalating

Re: 2025 NHL Draft Class
Everybody wants out of Buffalo. He’s a good player. His stats over the last two seasons have been impressive. We need offence up front in a bad way. Only 23 years old and has good size, not a Smurf like Tanti and Skriko and has a nose for goals, 27 this season, 28 last season. Could be what the doctor ordered for Scooter boi.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Tue Jun 24, 2025 10:25 am Peterka wants out...this is why his name is out there
One player to watch is Tuch. He’s been linked to Vancouver as his wife is from Vancouver. Byram as well.
Multi player proposal:
Hronek for Byram
Lekkerimaki/2025 1st for Peterka
Silovs for Tuch
Re: 2025 NHL Draft Class
If you traded for Byram wouldn't the next trade be to move Hughes before making any other deals?Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue Jun 24, 2025 10:28 amEverybody wants out of Buffalo. He’s a good player. The blue line is much more able to deal with the loss of Hughes if Byram is a Canuck and the bounty you'd get for Hughes would mean that you wouldn't have to deal a Lekkerimaki and picks for a middling top 6 winger...
Not promoting moving Hughes, just saying that with Hughes and Byram on the roster one of them can be dealt....
Take care...
