100% Mgmt. isn't going to trade Chytil:

A) No one in their right mind would take a chance on him.
B) They have a history of thinking that injuries are behind players, once they return. (IE: Demko)
C) Their centre ice depth is so razer thin, and trading Chytil puts them in a serious position of weakness when trying to deal EP40 in the offseason.
D) Mgmt. are morons.

Sell to both sides!
Lord of War level of evil. I like it.

Normally I’d disagree with you.

But I don’t.

"A" overwrites anything that management might try to do, so I'm assuming he's here for the remainder of his contract and can hang out with Demko on LTIR.

Yep, hopefully whomever is in charge at the end of summer can help us through the cap gymnastics like Gilman used to back in the day.

Chytil will likely solve this matter all by himself when he knocks his noggin again and goes on LTIR. Kid should see the writing on the wall, take the insurance, and call it a career. Sucks, but he would hardly be the first, and that money isn't too shabby either. He can head back to Kroměříž and live off his investments if he didn't want to become mayor of the place. The hockey dream might be dead, but at least he isn't as well.

Chytil will get moved as soon as he hits permanent LTIR and some team needing to hit the cap floor wants the cap hit.

That is an excellent point.

The way the price of blueberries are going though, might be Van needing to keep at the cap floor... just sayin.

Unlikely! And for good reason, the Canucks should be looking to sign some vets on short term deals, pump them up, then flip them at the deadline to a contender.

It’ll help the young’uns and hopefully snag us some extra picks for the next few years!

I think that's a great idea.

Now would be when you should spend to bring in an old beagle to guide the young pups.

Frankie has zero sense of timing.

(Not saying we should spend on expensive 4th line UFAs... just in case Blobber is reading ;))

So, I have seen a lot of tweets about the Canucks not wanting to trade Garland? Huh, he should be 1 of the players they try to ship out.

Garland would be a luxury to keep as a leader/mentor....but....if you get a first? Or a 1st +

What would be his market value?
